Please arrive with plenty of time to spare if you want to view the exhibition contents at your leisure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"q-h3\"><span class=\"q\">Q.<\/span>Is the museum closed on any days?<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"a\">A.<\/span>There are no holidays at the museum. The museum is also open over the New Year holidays. However, we may close temporarily if there is inclement weather, such as heavy typhoons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"q-h3\"><span class=\"q\">Q.<\/span>Does the museum have a parking lot?<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"a\">A.<\/span>It does not have its own parking lot. Please use the parking lots of nearby souvenir stores. The &#8220;Himeyuri no To Mae&#8221; bus stop is right in front of the museum. Reservations are not required for visitors with fewer than 10 people in their group, but it may take some time to enter the museum during busy periods such as school trip season. If you would like to view details of the exhibits at home, please use the guidebook.\n<br>\nPhotography is allowed in areas other than the exhibition rooms (lobby, courtyard and in the grounds of Himeyuri Memorial Tower). Testimonies by former Himeyuri students are shown in the permanent exhibition room (with English subtitles). These are images left by survivors who wanted to share their war experiences with visitors, even though they can no longer speak to them directly. The approximately 100 cm-high stone monument inside the fence is the first Himeyuri Cenotaph that was erected.
